Unfortunately, both partitions were running very new stock firmware (1.1.8.x and 1.1.7.x (or 1.8.x and 1.7.x - I forget exactly how Linksys versioned it)), which blocks the loading of any non-Linksys signed firmware from being uploaded.Ī number of hours later, I was successful. I recently acquired a Linksys EA6900 and of course, wanted to load FreshTomato onto it. However, I wanted to share some learning experiences which may help point others in the right direction.
